Terms and Conditions

These terms govern how you use this website and any services you book with Voltify Contractors Ltd. By contacting us, requesting a quote, or booking work, you agree to them.

Our services

We provide handyman and contractor services, including electrical, plumbing, painting and decoration, and appliance installation and repairs across East and South-East London.

We confirm the specific service and scope on your quote or booking form before work begins.

Working hours

Our standard working hours are 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

However, we also offer emergency call-outs outside these hours at different pricing.

1Quotations

Each quotation stays valid for 30 days unless we state otherwise.

We base every quote on the site conditions we can see at the time of inspection.
A quote covers only the repairs we identify at assessment. It does not cover extra faults, hidden damage found during the works, or changes you make to the property during the project.
If we find any additional works during the project, we quote for them separately.
Accepting the quotation confirms that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2Payment terms

For larger projects, we may ask for a deposit (typically 50%) before we start, unless we agree otherwise. You then pay the balance on completion, or as we agree for the specific work.
We accept cash and bank transfer.
Please pay within 30 days of the invoice date, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Late payments may incur statutory interest and recovery costs.

3Access & delays

You must provide clear and safe access to the property. To help us work safely and efficiently, we may ask you to:

Provide clear access
Protect or remove items
Ensure utilities are accessible
Share known property issues

If you do not provide access at the agreed time, a call-out charge may apply.

Also, Voltify Contractors Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by third parties, suppliers, tenants or building management.

4Variations & additional works

We carry out work based on the agreed scope.

You must approve any variation from the agreed scope in writing.
We charge separately for any additional works we identify during the project.
We treat hidden defects found after opening-up works as variations.

5Materials & parts

Voltify Contractors supplies the parts and materials your work needs.
Some spare parts have a delivery lead time of 1–2 weeks, so please ask us about the lead time for your specific parts.
For replacement tiles, flooring or materials, we cannot guarantee an exact match. Instead, we use the closest available match unless we agree otherwise.
Also, when we replace components in appliances, additional faults can sometimes appear in other parts.

6Workmanship warranty

We cover all workmanship with a 12-month warranty from the date of completion. However, this covers installation defects only.

It excludes wear and tear, misuse, lack of maintenance, third-party damage and manufacturer faults.

In addition, manufacturer warranties apply separately to supplied products.

7Water ingress & concealed services

We are not liable for defects in concealed pipework, wiring, drainage or structural elements that we cannot see at the time of work.
We do not guarantee existing waterproofing systems that we do not replace.
The warranty does not cover recurring leaks caused by unrelated components.
Also, we cannot guarantee tiles against breakage during removal.

8Waste disposal

We dispose of all removed materials in line with regulations, unless we agree otherwise.
However, hazardous materials you have not disclosed beforehand may incur additional charges.

9Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited strictly to the value of the works carried out under the relevant quotation.

We are not responsible for indirect, consequential or third-party losses.

However, nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
